Dress code

This is a festival and camping trip that includes a wedding - we want everyone to be happy and comfortable, so dress as up or as down as you like.

For the ceremony itself, the bride, groom and wedding party will be dressed more traditionally (white dress and suit). However, in true Nelson hippy style, shoes are optional and the bride won't be wearing any.
If you're wanting to flaunt it in a classy wedding outfit, this is your time. But we are equally happy for those wanting socks and sandals, and if it has to be, crocs are permitted.

Shortly after the wedding party photos we will be changing into full festive attire for a night of dancing and shenanigans. If you need a guide think Burning Man, Woodstock, Splore, and CubaDupa, get inspired!

There will be a clothing and glam tent full of fruity fabrics, feathered hats and rhinestones for the cowboys - particularly for those who have travelled and didn't have baggage for your sequined waist coat (kids costumes included).
If you have anything to offer in this space (face paining, clothing, etc) we would be very grateful to add to the atmosphere of the event.

Gifts

There is absolutely no obligation to make a donation. Any contributions in the way of food, entertainment (dust off that acoustic guitar in the closet... or fire poi) or general festival related accessories are absolutely welcome.

For those that do wish to make a donation, we have set up a wedding fund which can be deposited directly into:
