Accommodation



We're really hoping people pitch a tent (can be next to your car), bring a camper or take up a cabin. Each guest or group will need to book their accommodation.


If you are booking at Old MacDonald's Farm quote attending the "Woodhall Wedding" and they'll look after you. We have a super late and relaxed check out time of 3pm on the Sunday so we can enjoy the full day and pack down late afternoon.



Camping



We have booked out an entire camp ground so there is a space to suit everyone.

Most of the camping spaces are in areas separated by hedges and bushes (sections 2 - 15 and 17 - 32 on the map below) each of these sections will fit 3 - 4 tents and a couple of cars so you can create a nice sub space with a smaller crew or a couple families.


We strongly encourage the use of lights, lanterns, and bunting to make these spaces warm and homely. Sites 2 - 15 and 17 - 26 are normally used as powered sites for RVs so if you have a caravan plug converter you can use any appliances you like here. If you wish to book one of these sites please keep in mind they are large so sharing with friends is encouraged.

There is plenty of other camping space in non powered areas on terrace D and C as well as the tent sites by the bush reserve too.


If you plan to use an RV or caravan I strongly recommend booking a powered site in advance.



Cabins



The cabins at old MacDonald's farm are booked out by the bridal party and family. There is also The Barn about 500m down the road https://barn.co.nz/ this is the best second option as you will be walking distance from the event.


This is the best option for you if bringing camping equipment on a plane is not possible or you just prefer the finer things in life but still want to be close to the action.



Pets



Well behaved dogs are welcome. There will be a doggy day care provided for the ceremony. They must be on a lead in the Bull Paddock if they jump up on people and all dogs must be on a lead at all times in the children's area.



Local accommodation



There are a variety of air BnB as well as some high end spas in the area. Do keep in mind there is no taxi service or Uber in Marahau when planning how far away you will stay. Name owner of the bhal blah resort has been a friend of the father of the bride since the 8os and is around 1 KM from the reception. (not a sponsred post*)
